What happens after a tutor accepts my request?

Once a tutor accepts your request, you'll receive a confirmation email. The tutor will contact you within 3 days to arrange the trial lesson. If you don't hear from them, simply reply to our email and Tutorble will follow up on your behalf.

Can I request a trial lesson before committing?

Yes. Every tutor request begins with a trial lesson so you can assess whether the tutor is the right fit before deciding on regular lessons. If you decide that the tutor is not the right fit, half of the lesson fee is to be paid to Tutorble while the rest directly to the tutor.

How much does home tuition cost in Singapore?

Tuition fees vary depending on the tutor's qualifications, teaching experience, subject and level. Each tutor sets their own rates, which are clearly displayed on their profile before you submit a request.

How does Tutorble work?

Simply browse tutors, compare their profiles and submit a request to the tutor you feel is the best fit. Once the tutor accepts, they will contact you within 3 days to arrange the trial lesson. If you need any assistance, Tutorble is here to help throughout the process.

Who do I pay for lessons? What are the charges?

Tutorble charges
Parents/students are required to pay 2 lesson fees' to Tutorble directly as platform fees after the 2nd lesson.

Subsequent lessons
Payment is made directly to your tutor for subsequent lessons. Tutorble does not collect lesson fees, allowing you and your tutor to communicate and arrange payments directly.

Can I change tutors if the first one isn't a good fit?

Yes. If you feel the tutor isn't the right match after the trial lesson, simply let us know, we will need to know within 3 days after the trial. We'll be happy to help you find another tutor who better suits your child's learning needs.

How are tutors verified on Tutorble?

Every tutor undergoes a profile review before joining Tutorble. We verify their identity, teaching background and qualifications where applicable. Tutor profiles also include detailed teaching information and parent reviews where possible to help you make an informed decision.
